This is some good thinking about how to maintain what is important to the DIY lifestyle. While candidly I don't agree with her stance regarding the recording industry and the invisible transition from DIY venues to commercial (I say invisible because there's no mention of it). I also consider that there is not enough emphasis placed on venues and their role in building community. Maybe what's loss in the move from DIY to EIY is the missing T?
